This is a 16 ounce cocktail stainless steel inside, wood outside, cocktail shaker.
I’ve had this chunk of incredibly figured and spalted (the black inkiness streaking through the wood) for years. It got lost under one of the piles of wood in my storage. I’m really happy with the character that this has. I try to have each of my pieces have some personality that will make someone like you happy. This will look fantastic on someone’s bar.
While mixing cocktails with this shaker, your hand should not get icy cold like the beverage you want to consume. Wood is heat resistant so only the top and cap will get cold. (The top and cap will need to be held or your beverage will go everywhere while shaking...just a warning from experience.)
The interior is a 16 oz stainless steel liner. The lines on the cap are supposed to be for measuring (I’ve never used that. yet). The slip fit top has a build in strainer. It is nearly 10 inches tall, and it is about 4 inches in diameter.
I finished this with tung oil, lacquer, and enamel. Wash by hand, not in the dishwasher (or in a 3 dip tank).
