Pizza cutter with a hand-turned purpleheart wood handle. This is not dyed wood! This is the natural color…a deep rich purple. The wood is very dense and tough on my turning tools. BUT it seems to be very popular because everything I make from purpleheart finds it proper person…and they seem to be happy with it.
The Handle is approximately 6 inches long. The heavy-duty chrome plated stainless steel pizza cutter blade is 4 inches across and unscrews from the handle for easy cleaning. This does come with a silicone blade cover. The blade is very sharp. It will cut all levels of pizza, focaccia, lasagna, and thick sheet breads.
For cleaning, the handle should be wiped with a damp cloth. The blade is dishwasher-safe.
