Who’s kitchen doesn’t have a series of tools that are immediately grabbed when cooking? Us, we have 3..we cook that much.
This kitchen caddy is made from a rough sawn piece of cedar. The large check/crack in the front prevented me from being able to turn this into a beverage container ( or 2). As I’m loathe to get rid of perfectly good wood, I made this kitchen caddy from the piece, which allows us to have that distinct and unique thing that’s also very useful in the kitchen. The items in the pictures are not included with this piece as they’re just to give you scale on how big this is. (I might have to make a fourth for our kitchen…if I have spare wood somewhere.)
This has been finished with tung oil, shellac, and a durable clear enamel.
Nearly 9 inches tall and 5 inches across the tool holding area, 6 inches across total.
To clean, wipe with a damp cloth. Do not put it in the dishwasher or submerge it in water (that will just ruin this piece).
