Ice Cream Scoop with May Flower SpectraPly Wood Handle
Ice cream scoop with hand-turned Spectra Ply wood handle. The handle is approximately 6 inches long. The whole scoop is about 9 inches from base to tip. It’s finished with tung oil and a topcoat of durable enamel.
The stainless steel scoop unscrews from the handle for easy cleaning. The handle must be washed by hand. A trip through the dishwasher would ruin the wood.
Because I really like the color and versatility of Spectra Ply (I’m not paid to say that), I present another very colorful ice cream scoop handle. This color pattern is called May Flower and is a pattern of yellow, blue, pink, and white/clear/natural colored plys. I’ve tried to highlight the colors with a comfy-grip wavy pattern so your fingers have a place to truly grip the handle and get that stubborn ultra frozen ice cream out of the container.
