Ice cream scoop with hand-turned Christmas themed spectra ply wood handle. The handle is approximately 6 inches long. The whole scoop is about 9 inches from base to tip. It’s finished with tung oil and a topcoat of durable enamel.
The stainless steel scoop unscrews from the handle for easy cleaning. The handle must be washed by hand. A trip through the dishwasher would ruin the wood.
This handle is made from a holidays themed Spectra Ply wood. The strata in the handle is red, green, and white (or natural…if you’re picky). I turned this piece to show off all the layers while giving your fingers a nice place to grip while scooping ice cream. Next year, leave a bowl of ice cream for Santa using this scoop.
