Highly figured maple bowl
Who doesn’t like a piece of wood that has multiple levels of interest going? This highly figured maple bowl has flame grain going across the whole piece with a touch of spalting along the side. The minerals the tree picked up during it’s growth show across several of the growth rings. This bowl could be used as a salad bowl, a landing bowl, or just a nice accent to a large table.
The bowl is about 2 inches tall and 10.75 inches across (at the top).
The bowl is finished with a multi-layer process of tung oil, shellac, lacquer, and enamel.
This would be shipped insured and very protected. (duh...like I’d want it to arrive at your side broken…that’d make me very sad because I have a lot of work in this piece and want you to enjoy the final piece as much as I enjoyed making it.)
