The large coffee scoop with a hand-turned Birdseye Maple wood wood handle. Look for the little dot like inclusions to get the effect of the birdseye in the maple. The wavy pattern is intended to bring out more of the character than would be seen in a flat turned piece.
The handle has been finished with tung oil and a topcoat of acrylic.
Total length of the scoop is about 8 inches. The scoop and tang are about 3 inches in length. The wooden handle accounts for about 5 inches of the length.
The stainless steel finish scoop holds two tablespoons.
