Wooden bowl made from cherry wood. Approximately 7.5 inches across, 2.5 inches high. Finished with tung oil only for a rustic look.
This is a bowl that my wife made. She’ll never admit to it, but she’s pretty good at this. This cherry wood came from my bicycle mechanic’s house after a windstorm nudged the tree onto his house.
I’ve refinished the bowl as I screwed it up after putting it in storage. The finish now is my multi-layer finish of oil, shellac, and lacquer. I think you’ll enjoy this bowl a bunch… I know I had fun working with my wife on getting it to this form.
