Purpleheart Wood Tumbler, 16 Ounce Capacity
This beverage container holds 16 ounces of your favorite beverage. It will keep hot things hot for a good long while (just like a Stanley..but with personality). No one will ever mistake your mug for theirs — each one is as unique as I can get them.
The wood used on this mug is purple heart. This is nature making things as interesting as one can in that it’s a striking purple color. While turning this, I didn’t notice that there was much going on in the grain. So to make this interesting, I gave the piece some lobe like texture. While you’re sitting in traffic, this can be your fidget toy. Only after all the finishes had set and I had this in the sun for final inspection, I noticed that the lobes do work with the grain and make things interesting. Hopefully you think so too.
I've tried to turn this container to be able to fit into a 3 inch cup holder in a car. I once had a car that had REALLY small cup holders and I had to hold my coffee cup as I drove because I couldn’t fit it into the holders…that annoyed me. I try to avoid that for you.
The interior has a16 oz stainless steel liner. The lid slips/pushes on securely. It’s nearly 8 inches tall, 4 inches wide.
Finished with tung oil, lacquer, and enamel.
Wash by hand, not in the dishwasher—that’s REALLY bad for these.
Ships via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate.
