This beverage container holds 16 ounces of your favorite beverage. It will keep hot things hot for a good long while (just like a Stanley...but with personality). This won’t be like anyone else’s coffee mug — feel unique and be able to find your mug when you need it.
This piece of cheery wood came from my bike mechanic’s yard. During a wind storm, last year, the tree decided to lean gently against his house and needed to be brought down before it did real damage. This has a touch of sap wood (the lighter colored wood), along with that wonderful cherry heart wood. Although the hear wood is fairly straight grained, there are subtle changes that keep giving new interest at every twist.
I've tried to turn this container to be able to fit into a 3 inch cup holder in a car. I once had a car that had REALLY small cup holders and I had to hold my coffee cup as I drove because I couldn’t fit it into the holders…that annoyed me. I try to avoid that for you.
The interior has a16 oz stainless steel liner. The lid slips/pushes on securely. It’s nearly 8 inches tall, 4 inches wide. The base should be just under 3 inches to fit most cars cup-holders.
Finished with tung oil, lacquer, and enamel.
Wash by hand, not in the dishwasher—that’s REALLY bad for these.
